'Mozart in the Jungle': Where classical music meets soap opera

Is it possible for Bernadette Peters to star in a TV show without ever singing? That was one of the pressing questions hovering over the first season of “Mozart in the Jungle,” the Amazon original series that was, rather unexpectedly, recently nominated for two Golden Globe Awards, including best musical or comedy.
